A single painted butterfly rests against black, soft pink wings catching every bit of light around them. Below it, a smaller butterfly settles into a garden of delicate flourishes, petals and leaves scattered like they grew there on their own.

The contrast is the whole point, quiet pink against bold black, gentle against striking. You carry this and people notice both at once, the softness and the confidence it takes to wear it.

I painted this one to hold two things together that don't usually share space, delicate beauty and quiet boldness, all in one piece.
